《少年成長記》是MTV頻道為數(shù)不多的有劇本劇集之一。在這部校園喜劇中，主人公RJ（Paul Iacono扮演）是一位15歲的少年，典型的書呆子，很不討人喜歡。RJ最好的朋友Miles Jenner（Jareb Dauplaise）比他精明多了，但卻整天沉迷于「性」。除了對(duì)夢中女孩Jenny Swanson（Amber Lancaster）苦苦相思、每天「按時(shí)」接受卑鄙的運(yùn)動(dòng)明星Max Owens的欺負(fù)、擺脫主動(dòng)示好的丑女Lily Miran（Kara Taitz扮演）這三件事外，RJ的生活可謂非常平淡。直到有一天，一次意外讓RJ「雄偉」的男性特征暴露在全校師生面前……
